COMAC (Shanghai Pudong) has announced it has secured orders for a total of 105 ARJ21-700s from China's three largest carriers - Air China (35), China Eastern Airlines (35), and China Southern Airlines (35).

In a statement, Air China said its thirty-five ARJ21s will deliver "in batches" between 2020 and 2024. As previously reported, the jets will be placed with Air China's Beijing Airlines (BJN, Beijing Capital) production carrier.

For its part, China Eastern will take delivery of its first three ARJ21s in 2020 followed by six in 2021, eight in 2022, and nine in each of 2023 and 2024. The jets will be operated on China Eastern's behalf by its Easternjet (Shanghai Hongqiao) subsidiary which is currently undergoing CCAR121 certification.

Lastly, China Southern said in a stock market filing it will also take delivery of its entire order over the same period. However, three will arrive in 2020, six in 2021, eight in 2022, nine in 2023, and nine in 2024. The jets will be operated for China Southern's Xiamen Airlines (MF, Xiamen) unit by its Jiangxi Airlines (RY, Nanchang International) subsidiary.

Overall, inclusive of this development, COMAC said it now has orders for a total of 596 ARJ21-700s from 22 customers.
