Swift Air (United States of America) (Greensboro Piedmont Triad International) has announced it started the rebranding as iAero Airways reflecting the change of ownership of the airline.

"In December 2018, Swift Air was acquired by iAero Group as a key component of their new integrated aviation services platform. This acquisition created a number of unique opportunities with safety, quality and cost advantages throughout the platform. A year later, Swift Air began its transition to rebrand as iAero Airways," the carrier said on its website.

The plan to rebrand was initially announced in September 2019. In a Department of Transportation (DOT) filing, Swift Air said that it intended to retain its corporate name - Swift Air, LLC - and therefore did not seek the reissuance of its operating licences and certificates which cover interstate and foreign air charter flights ferrying persons, property, and mail.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the ACMI/charter specialist currently operates thirty-five Boeing narrowbodies, including eight B737-300s, twenty-one B737-400s, five B737-800s, as well as a single B737-300(F).
