Advanced Air (AN, Hawthorne) has announced three new seasonal routes from California's coastal cities to Mammoth Lakes, CA, as it hopes to boost its business with seasonal winter traffic.

The airline plans to operate 5x weekly from Burbank, and 4x weekly each from San Diego McClellan Palomar and Hawthorne. Services will commence on December 17, 2020, and continue through April 2021. Advanced Air Charters will use its only Do328-300, N192TS (msn 3214), for the flights. Occasionally, and subject to demand, the carrier may also operate the routes using a Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350.

Advanced Air Charters is set to be one of two airlines serving Mammoth Lakes besides United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare), which will also start seasonal flying to the city on December 17 from Los Angeles International, Denver International, and San Francisco. All three routes are operated by SkyWest Airlines using CRJ700 regional jets.

According to the ch-aviation schedules module, Advanced Air Charters operates EAS routes from Silver City to Albuquerque International and Phoenix Sky Harbor. It also connects Hawthorne with Phoenix on a scheduled basis, on top of its charter operations in California. Last winter, the carrier also operated Taos Air (Taos) services to Taos, which will be suspended this season.
