United States-based business aviation platform Flyte is considering the acquisition of aircraft and other assets from now-bankrupt Part 135 carrier Verijet (WSP, Vero Beach Municipal), FLYING Magazine reports.
“We’re planning on purchasing whatever is available,” Jeremy Frommer, Flyte's founder, told the outlet. Flyte is not a certified operator but owns Ponderosa Air (Farmingdale), whose Part 135 fleet as of July comprised a 5.3-year-old Vision Jet G2 based at Grand Rapids, MI.
Expanding Ponderosa Air's Vision Jet fleet is a top priority, Frommer said, as Flyte assesses how many Cirrus Aircraft Verijet owned, and how many could be acquired through the liquidation process. Other assets are also under consideration. Flyte aims to establish a strong presence in Verijet's former markets, such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
As of July 2025, Verijet's Part 135 certificate included a Vision Jet G2 and two Vision Jet G2+.
