The sale of NCA - Nippon Cargo Airlines (KZ, Tokyo Narita) contributed to a 55.7% drop in net profit for Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The cargo carrier's former parent company recorded a net profit of JPY211.7 billion yen (USD1.3 billion).
The August 2025 completion of a share exchange transferred the cargo carrier to ANA Holdings. Consequently, the parent company's air cargo transportation segment recorded a 77.9% revenue decrease to JPY41.1 billion (USD260.3 million). The segment's recurring profit fell to JPY2.1 billion (USD13.3 million).
