Air Astana (KC, Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev) will invest KZT8 billion tenge (USD17.5 million) in FlyArystan. As part of the deal, the full Air Astana subsidiary will issue two million ordinary shares at KZT4,000 (USD8.78) each, which will all be placed with Air Astana, a shareholder decision dated September 8, 2026, revealed.

The same decision approved FlyArystan's plan to take over the lease of a yet-to-be-delivered A320-200N, due for delivery in November 2026. Air Astana will guarantee FlyArystan's payment obligations under the lease. The aircraft in question is expected to be msn 13544, a jet ordered by Air Astana and not yet delivered, ch-aviation data shows.
